Below is the Onyx Interiors process, which is always adapted to suit the needs of each unique project and client.
Discovery
Every project begins with a conversation. This initial meeting is an opportunity to understand the scope of the project, how the space is used, what isn't working, and what the end goal looks like. It's also a chance to determine whether the partnership is the right fit.
Scope & Proposal
Once the project parameters are clear, a detailed proposal is prepared outlining the services, timeline, and investment. No surprises, just a clear picture of what to expect before the work begins.
Concept Development
This is where the design direction takes shape. Space planning, mood boards, material palettes, and preliminary selections are developed and presented for review. Feedback is gathered and the concept is refined until it's right.
Design Development
With the concept approved, selections are finalized — furniture, fixtures, finishes, fabrics, and every detail in between. Specifications are documented and sourcing begins. Revisions are made as needed to ensure every element is working together.
Procurement
Approved selections are ordered, tracked, and managed through delivery. Lead times are communicated and any changes along the way are handled directly, keeping the project on schedule and on budget.
Installation & Reveal
Furnishings are received, inspected, and installed. The final walkthrough ensures every detail is in place and the space functions exactly as intended. The result is an interior that's complete, considered, and ready to be lived in.
